Quinua (Chenopodium quinoa) is a traditional Andean grain, rich in protein, carbohydrates with an excellent nutritional value due to its balance of amino acids. In fact it is one of the few organic foods that contain all nine essential aminoacids. It is  high in fiber, magnesium, B-vitamins, iron, potassium, calcium, phosphorus, vitamin E and additional antioxidants. The concentration of lysine in quinoa is almost twice in comparison with other cereals and grasses. It contains no cholesterol and is gluten free.
